Create a fun and festive Party Hat using a Royal Lace® medallion doily as the cone base and a heart doily for decoration. Curl some ribbon for flair and glue it all together. Quick to make and perfect for celebrations!
Materials Needed:
- 1 Royal Lace® medallion doily
- Royal Lace® heart doily
- Curling ribbon and glue
Directions:
To make a festive lace party hat, start by folding the Royal Lace® medallion doily in half (FIG. A). Tie curling ribbon to each side to create a simple chin strap, then glue a few strands of curling ribbon to the top for a playful tassel (FIG. B). Shape the folded doily into a cone and secure it with glue (FIG. C). Add a Royal Lace® heart doily to the front for decoration. For extra sparkle, glue on metallic stars or other embellishments as desired.

- Glue curling ribbon on top to form tassel (FIG. B)
- Form cone and glue (FIG. C)
- Glue heart doily on front of hat
- If desired, glue on metallic stars for additional sparkle!
